Common Industrial Protocol Training, CIP Training
Common Industrial Protocol Training, CIP Training, is a 2-day training course that covers the basics of Common Industrial Protocol (CIP). CIP is an industrial protocol for industrial automation applications supported by Open DeviceNet Vendors Association (ODVA). Learn how CIP and other network technologies based upon CIP such as DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, CIP Safety and CIP Sync work.
CIP is also known as Control and Information Protocol, CIP encompasses a comprehensive suite of messages and services for the collection of manufacturing automation applications – control, safety, synchronization, motion, configuration and information.
